BILLIE-JANE has been successfully freelancing in the Fashion and Film Industry for the past 20 years, as a Wardrobe Stylist, Designer, Costume Designer, Assistant Designer, Assistant Costume Designer, Buyer, Wardrobe Coordinator, Image Consultant, and Set Designer. She has been a Personal Dresser/ Wardrobe Stylist to many Famous Celebrities such as: Farrah Fawcett, Jessica Lange, Jennifer Beals, Peter Gallagher, Forest Whitaker, and Rob Lowe!

Billie-Jane was born and raised on Prince Edward Island, Canada. She continues to take the opportunity to travel and work in various cities throughout the world such as Toronto / Ontario, Malmo / Sweden, San Francisco / California, Valetta / Malta, and Paris / France, etc. She loves staying on top of fashion trends and finds inspiration everywhere she goes, by exposing herself to various cultures, and lifestyles.

She is formally educated in Fashion Design, Environmental Planning, and Interior Decorating.

Billie-Jane is a natural when it comes to Style; her eye for fashion began at a very early age.

Inspiration for “Buell Designs” sprouted a few years ago. Famous Actors who soon became clients were asking for her expert advice with their Wardrobe issues and decorating dilemmas.
After years of experience in the Fashion & Film Industry, as well as Interior Decorating, she felt confident and ready to share her Professional Wardrobe & Home Styling knowledge to not only famous Celebrities in the Film Industry, but to open her services to everyone. Her office / studio is in Charlottetown, PEI, Canada.

Billie-Jane is an entrepreneur and a member of the PEI Business Women’s Association.

Some of her most recent accomplishments are being the Assistant Costume Designer on a CBC series in Toronto, Ontario called, “Schitt’s Creek”, starring Eugene Levy & Catherine O’Hara.

Billie-Jane has also Co-Created, Hosted , Set Designed & Wardrobe Styled her own Style Show called, “Style Matters” which just aired on Eastlink TV.

Buell Designs became incorporated in Spring 2015 to “Buell Designs Inc.”
